Looks like a good idea for tight spotsI was on a jobsite last week and the plumber was using a new type of copper fitting that had an "o" ring inside of it, and he used a pretty fancy hydraulic crimping tool on them. The house is worth over 3 million so I guess they are pretty confident with them.Good luck if you use the new stuff.
