It was on our news last night in Tulsa, OK. They installed it on they're news trucks with substantial gas savings. Sounds like it may be worth it, but it is expensive initially.

Found previous post on this.

I can kinda see it working, but something about sending a concentration of water vapor into my engine sends up warning bells. Two guys in my shop have home built HHO generators to use in their cars. They're saving about 4 MPG so far, but I predict it's at the expense of engine lifespan.

HHO, isn't that just a another fancy way of saying "water"?

Yeah, looks like it sends electric current through distilled water, splits it up into Oxygen and Hydrogen. Well, for the homemade ones, the more "cells" the better. That just tells me it's actually making Hydrogen and the more cells (jars) the better, that's how they're gas mileage is going up (I think) and the Oxygen helps the gasoline burn more purely. Either way, sounds techno-fun to make one and try it out.

Our local TV station WYFF-4 in Greenville just finished their 3 month study of a "Water-4-Gas" thing.

They had a local technical college do the installation and fabrication of the $100 device. They checked the mixture before and after and were convinced that it would help with mpg's.

Last night, they gave their results based on the 3 months of normal driving. They got 2 mpg....................................................LESS.

Yes, 2 mpg less by using hydrogen as a fuel. Seems that even though hydrogen is a fuel, cars are not made to run on it and it messes with the vehicles calibrations.

my shop and i are currently building ten HHO generators. probably $500 a piece. We havent gotten to testing stages yet. but i can pretty much garrentee we will get more than 4 mpg increase. we expect about 10 to 15 out of the trac
