Anyone ever try this?

I have the EE Sway Bar and still get body lean just not as bad as it was stock. Wondering if this would help any more.

Others have bought other brands and paid much more. he price is a pretty good price. I would say it would help both with the load capabilities as well as the body lean on turns.



I'd do it in a heart beat.



On top of that, if you have the OEM Shocks this will help tons as those shocks are poor right from the factory. This would help the shock situation out more than the EE Sway bar as it directly loads up the leaf springs. The EE Sway bar is a great addition but does little to help with the shock problem....

Looks like a somewhat cheaper alternative to the Roadmaster Active Suspension kit. But I think the RAS kit is a little stronger. I have the RAS kit, EE sway bar, and Rancho RSX shocks, and my ST rides much better than stock. Much less roll in turns, and much more resistant to cross winds.

No, but it does list the Explorer and Ranger.



Just because your specific application isn't listed, doesn't mean it won't work...you have to remember Summit is a huge company and can't test fit of every product on every vehicle, they just rely on what is told to them as what fits what, or if it's thier own product, general applications.

I am going for new shocks soon, and this would be my next purchase after the shocks. However, I am wainting for 1} someone else to buy a set and give us a review and 2} for my knee to heal up from yesterdays surgery. I can't bend it to get under the truck right now. Also might have to wait until a nice warm day!!

LB, I've seen those before from JCWhiney and they had a ST as the vehicle in the picture. (with and without) I've thought about getting them also.

I used those years ago on two different cars I had...they worked for loading..but they didnot work as well as a good sway bar for sway and lean control...

Is there any downfall to helper springs? Seems for the price they would be a good investment.

hoaxci5, not sure. I would think that they could cause alittle noise if they work loose but if you haul some heavy loads they could help and I can't immagine why they couldn't help alittle with the body roll.

Would these raise the rear a little? I think the local service guys must have done a free torsion twist on my truck during an alignment, because the front looks higher than the back now. I've also got a lot more space in my front wheel wells. I'd rather raise the back than lower the front.
