It looks like The Hornets may spend another year in OKC. Apparently, the owner wants to stay, and the OKC fans have given the team a spark that they were missing when they were in NO. It really is a tough situation for the team and the two cities.

The Hornets went from LAST place in fan attendence to 11th in the NBA when they moved to OKC. We put over 17,000 butts in the seats EVERY HOME GAME here!

Any person with half a brain in the NBA should move them here permanently. I've been to a game and thought it was very exciting. It was my first NBA game. CP3 (Chris Paul) rocks!

There was little fan support in New Orleans even before the hurricane... think they'll have more AFTER?

It's more than just putting butts in seats, unfortunately... Here in Sacramento, we USED to fill the arena EVERY HOME GAME! We still TECHNICALLY sell out every home game, but there are still empty seats in the arena. Maybe now that will start happening again with the arrival of Artest.

It's the TV contracts and corporate money spent on luxury boxes that pay the salaries of the players. It's why they want a new arena here. But filling the arena every night is a great start!

as a huge nba fan, i think it's great that okc has provided a " home ' for the hornets. i also think it's great that the people of okc have supported the team and now they get introduced to the action in the nba. as a nj nets fan i know the frustration of a team not getting the fan support they deserve. there are way to many nights that the arena is maybe 60% of capacity.

i live on eastern long island and make the 85 mile ( 2 hour drive ) to watch the excitement. i will always be a nets fan as i was when they were playing in the aba on long island.

okc, best of luck on bring the hornets to a permanant home !

support the team and the nba !!!!

Well, we already have Eddie Sutton up in Stilllwater, why not George Shinn too? People here don't seem to care too much about scruples as long as the team is winning. Heck, the State nickname is "The Sooner State", and a Sooner is defined as someone who cheated by crossing into the Homestead land before it was allowed. Its a match made in Heaven (or someplace else, at least)

Sooner -- A person who settled homestead land in the western United States before it was officially made available, in order to have first choice of location.
