I know it is sad the way she left things, but the TV coverage is non-stop. The coverage sometimes adds a blurb at the end referring to the unfortunate baby left behind with no dad and no money, which is truly the real sad part of the story, but this whole deal should be a private affair for the (multiple) interested parties.

Personally, I think the autopsy will reveal that she died because the single brain cell in her head died, and left nothing to tell her to breathe. By the way, I am not claiming paternity of the child.

I will not claim paternity. Everyone would then know that I spent time with her. I am not sure I want that information out there.

Did I just admit to doing something? ;)

I'd rather hear about the kid that got off of drugs and is now a straight "A" student, or the school that was built in Afghanistan with our tax dollars and with the help from our soldiers, or the fire fighter that saved the baby from a fire, or any number of other "good news" stories. :)

Definitely...I get away from national news by turning on our local news stations to actually hear something local and close to home...then they have to talk about Anna Nicole Smith also. That's when I know it's time to turn the tv off and do something else!

Now we can talk about Britney Spears and how she shaved her head.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Got the Sinead O'Connor look. I'd still hit it though.

I think Maury Povich should get the potential fathers on a prime time special for a DNA test.

"Caymen, you ARE the father.":lol::lol:

Sick, tired, disgusted....

The good news was that it took the NASA Diaper Scandal off the air.

I'd much rather hear about how Candidate H has fliped, while Candidate O has flopped and Candidate M has run out of money, and Candidate R is a religous "right winger" and Candidate J not condusive to their base....

Oh wait, I'm sick of that as well.

Maybe hear about how the Dem's are torpedoing the War effort....

nope sick of that one to because it happened...

You know, I'm just gonna turn on the Discovery Channel.... wait... there's Anna Nicole again.... can't read a magazine, can't read on the 'net. Ah hell.... I'm gonna go play with my guns.

JonnyO, I couldn't agree more. Except for the "My dog is faster than your dog".

Got Greyhound? I have a retired racing greyhound who won or placed in 44 races. :D [/OT]

I can tell you for sure who is loving the fact that the attention is not pointing at them...

NASA, in a sad way, Anna's death is the best thing that could have happened for them. It took all the attention away from the astronaut that made the drive to kill, kidnap, or just scare the other lady depending on what you want to believe...

She (the astronaut) seemed to be equipped to hack up the body into pieces and dispose of it in several places. Pretty sick, but then I guess all the ladies mentioned in this thread are/we're sick in one way or another. :(

I do think that if a lady is willing to hack up another lady to get to you, the sex would HAVE to be good.

I'm just saying.......

:lol::lol:

I guess I'm not that sick of it--but that's probably in large part because I don't have cable TV, and rarely have time at 5:30 to watch the national news, so my only exposure to it is what little is covered in the local news at either 6:00 or 10:00. Which isn't much.

Long story short--for those of you who are truly tired of hearing about it--there are options you can pursue, including other channels and simply turning the tube off. If you're not doing that--they you're simply not as sick of it as you claim, and likely to some extent actually enjoy it...

Forget about who she was or wasn't. What I find interesting about all this now is the fact that we have a rare opportunity to see another example of our fine legal system at work. Her will is invalid so the courts will have to figure it out. The courts are in two countries and several states within the US. There are now two estates battling over the claims of dead people. The are more live people than anyone can keep track of battling over custody of a dead person and a baby. This will take years and eventually will no longer be "News". But for now, it's a circus and who doesn't love the circus?
