I was a dummy and tried the AOL while I was on vacation, supposidly for 90 days free. Well they have been charging my CC everymonth, and I only used to for 1 week. I already called and cancelled the service when I got back from vacation. But they still charge my CC and I no longer have the Phone number. Does anybody in 'Tracland happen to have the AOL PH laying around?

Thanks

Bob

P.S. Their website was no help even utilizing the search feature.

Actually, the easiest thing to do now is change your Billing option to Free. AOL recently started giving away their service to people who have broadband. Even if you don't have a broadband connection, they won't know that. And you can make the change without calling them, just access their Billing option online.

I don't think you can get to the Billing option through their open website (www.aol.com), so you might have to use their software to access it.

I was a long time AOL subscriber (for reasons that are complicated and varied), but when they offered it for free, I was on that like white on rice - and it was easier than making a phone call.

Thanks George for the info, I called them and hopefully it willbe straighten out.

This site rocks!!!, between all of us, we probably know almost everything.

Have a good one

Bob

if you use dsl or another isp Aol full service is free, but don't call to use their tech support. :) You have to make the change in billing or call their billing number.
