Hey Matt,

A few questions for ya. When you installed the off road lights on your brush guard, you switched to an Explorer bezel for the second button above the fog light button, correct? Do you have any pictures of that? Is it a direct fit or is some modification needed? I don't want to use the PIAA switch that came with the lights if I don't have to.

Any details I should consider?

I'm hoping to get the lights on there sometime in the next couple weeks but with 40-45 hrs/wk of working plus grad school/finals coming up I'll just be happy to have it done by the end of May. Just jumping out in front of this.

You need to buy a used dash bezel from e-bay for about $40. Make sure it has a foglight & rear window defrost switch, you have to reinstall your rear window switch and name plate in place of the rear wiper switch. There are a few different colors available, I changed mine from grey to a black one.

Make sure the foglight switch and wiring plug are included so you you dont have to invest more money in the project later.

You can also get one in woodgrain.

If you havent tried to remove your bezel yet, it is easy, undo the 2 bolts above the heater switches and then pry the bezel where it touches the surrounding dash, then get ur fingers in there and wiggle it out and then unplug all the wiring harnesses from the stereo and switches :fire: .

Good Luck, Dave :banghead:

Here is a good pic of how to use the stock switch. Also take a look at the projects section in the lighting category. There are 2 very good projects that show how to wire it up.

Thanks, that is helpful. I'm embarrassed that I didn't check the Projects section first.:banghead:
