Ok, here is my dilemma, I have a HP computer with the camera card readers on the front. When I would put the card in it would automatically ask me what I want to do with the pictures. I would then pick "copy pictures to a file on my computer using Microsoft scanner and camera wizard" and it would work fine. Now, everything works fine until I select the "camera and scanner" choice. It will not open the scanner and camera wizard. It doesn't do anything. Any suggestions? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar issue a ways back. For what ever reason, the driver was dropped for the wizard.



I was able to open the scanner thru the "start" and then "All programs" links.



From there, I choose "File", "Open" and then browsed to my photo disk which will be listed as an external drive.



I rebooted the system and the driver was back in place....

Sooooo who knows what the issue was.

Thanks Coastie. I tried that and it still didn't help. I ended up doing a system restore and got it back up to snuff. Thanks for the input.
