Hey, I posted this in the other thread but wanted to know (in case you didn't feel like reading through the ranting):lol: (just kidding guys) How was the tranny shifting on the '07? I'm wondering if they went with the same shifting mode as in my wifes '05 Mountaineer. It feels like it's a standard when shifting. If so, it's not a bad idea but really annoying.

Definately different from my 01. There were more of a distinct shift. Almost like a shift kit installed. But not jerky. (did this make sense?)

Yeah, perfect sense. I was asking because I was afraid they'd put one in like my wifes. Like I said it's noticable. Almost like you took your foot off the gas and pushed in the clutch and left it back out. Have to have a strong neck if you really want to punch it and keep it to the floor when it shifts.
