I am getting ready to install factory sub woofer and amp. My ST orginnally was equiped with the single disc unit, I have replaced this with a factory 6 disc unit. The cabling in my ST does not have the 4 pin female plug that goes to the sub woofer. Does anyone know where to obtain this plug, or what size AMP female contnectors will fit the male plugs on the back of the head unit.

thanks

im assuming you have the plug on the back of the radio for the sub woofer output huh? well if so it will be hard to find the plug unless someone has installed an aftermarket radio and cut that plug to intergrate into it. if you just plain out looking for a signal to run into the amplifier and the amp has a crossover you can use Peripheral Electronics SVEN2 which will convert from speaker wires to RCA. since that radio is not internally crossed over you will be able to get a good enough signal for the subs that you plan to install. one down fall to that is not having subwoofer control right? wrong, you can also buy the P.E. piece PRC1 which will allot you (with a knob (supplied)) turn the gain to the subs up and down. keep all this in mind when your trying to integrate into the factory headunit. any more info needed email me at [email protected]
