I appear to have lost the left channels (front and back) of my stereo. I've got a pioneer 4800 headunit, MB Quartz 6x8 seperates in the front and 6x8 two ways in the rear. Everything worked fine yesterday. Got in this morning and noticed serious crackling from the front speaker. isolated each speaker and found no sound coming from either speaker on the drivers side. I'm thinking (hoping) that one of my grounds came loose. I used the existing wiring ( will run new wires when I finally get my amp). Is it possible that there is a common ground for each side? Anyone have any ideas? I haven't had a chance to pull apart the door yet to start checking connections
