Audio Question...

I'm new to the audio world (I've only changed my H/U and door speakers and wanna add a sub) and was wondering which subwoofer was a better opition for this amp.



I have a choice between a 12" Kicker L5 sub either dual 2ohm or 4ohm

and the amp i'm buying is a Sony XM-2200GTX

1200W peak, 500W RMS x 1 @ 4 ohms, bridged

Both subs are 600RMS and 1200 peak

Dual 2ohm. So you can wire the two voice coils in parallel and have a 4 ohm load bridged on your amp which is all it is stable for.
