Ok. I jsut bought a 2007 Sport Track Limited. I really like it. However, I can't locate the auxiliary audio input jack. The owners manual is of no help, but the sales brouchure says every audio system on the 2007 has one.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Edited, Better info in the posts below mine

I believe it is right in front of the latch for the center console, next to where the power outlet is at, and not all 2007's have them. Just the later build ones. Mine was built in July of '06 and does not have one.

Yeah. What A1cntrler said.

My '07 doesn't have the jack either. I'm wondering if there is a harness available that would allow us to add one?

Anyone pull an '07 radio out to see if there are any open connectors?

I think the 07's started putting this there in the vehicles produced in mid Dec 06 and later........mine has it there too.

The wiring for the jack is taped along with the 12v lighter plug in the harness. There is no plug specifically for it on the radio harness, but I'm sure it can be added. The radio might have to be replaced/reprogrammed, though.

Mine just has a "Media" button. I don't have an "aux."

If you don't have the jack, it is likely that your AUX button is non-functioning. Ford uses the same headunit for their Expeditions with the overhead entertainment system. The AUX button, when paired with the right electronics, allows the overhead unit to play on the entire system's speakers.

I have an early build V6 and mine has the jack just next to the aux power on the center console. I bought mine in September and it's a job 1. The aux button on the headunit activates that outlet with my iPod plugged in.

LOL...well, I thought of looking in the center counsole, but not on the outside. Will give it a check. My player does have the Aux button. Will let you all know. Many thanks for the replies.
