Just was informed by my AVG softare that the current version 7.1 is going to be ciscontinued on Jan. '07. There is a new version out that is 7.5. I updated and it seems pretty nice. It looks almost like the original but a little more stream-lined. Still the same basic program, but seems to go faster. (updates and such) Just wanted to put it out there for the ones who haven't been notified yet.
Oh, and it's still free. For the first 30 days you get the bought package, then after, if you don't want to pay for it, it will just go to the basic virus scan/protection like it always has been. You just won't have all the "frills".
