Been laid up for the last six weeks after rotator cuff surgery and the Trac didn't get much use.

Getting to where I can drive bit so we went to the dealer yesterday for some problem diagnosis and order parts (which is how I figured it would go) and back today to get fixed. It's not like I can go to work yet.

Far-right gauge cluster bulb at the temp gauge was burned out. They replaced all of them.

Fan didn't work on speeds 1 and 2. New ballast resistor.

New right front wheel bearing and hub assembly. Second one in a year and a half. Sounded for all the world like the left side, even the dealer tech agreed after a test ride, but it was the right side. They call me back to the service area where my truck is on a lift running in 4wd. Listen to LF wheel, no noise. RF wheel, lotsa noise. Go figure.

Nice and quiet now. Gotta love extended warranties.

Glad to hear man, just in time for the bad weather. Take it easy for awhile, it's easy to reinjure that.

:driving:

Snowing and sleeting down here.

Percocet makes me puke violently, I've taken exactly one in my life. I was taking Vicodin but after two weeks of being on it steady I was getting side effects that I didn't like. I couldn't wait to be off of the stuff.

Some people are alergic to codiene base and its generic synthetic derivitives.

In other news, it rained all day yesterday then the temp dropped to 15* last night. I put the wife's car in the garage instead of the truck since she had to go to work and its doors and locks freeze easily. So this morning I broke off one of the Trac's rear door handles trying to open it. I may not be able lift a pencil with my left arm, but look out for my right.

That sucks. We're getting hit hard here where I live in the city. The wind and snow travel right up the river valley all the way to slam the side of my house which is completely exposed as are the Trac and Mounty.

Johnny O, you should've kept the 1st Gen ST, more of a Truck that can handle the weather.

This one rides and handles a lot better, not good for off-roading though. My Gen 1 was 3 years old and getting rust already.

a lil over a year after my surg (complete & 85% partial tear) i am still w/o full range of motion. no swimming, basketball and putting on a jacket is a bitch.

keep up with your PT and hang in there.

Thanks Gary, I'll keep pounding away at it. Doctor said mine was torn 90% through all the way across. Range of motion is getting better (6 weeks after surgery) but I still can't move it much under its own power. Right now it hurts worst on the back side of my shoulder right above my armpit. Same here with putting a jacket on. Pulling my arm up, like when putting on a pair of pants, is very painful. Saw the doctor last Thursday, he is concerned about the amount of pain I still have and ordered some blood tests. And I thought I was doing good.

johnnyo,

keep your head up. i am sure like me you get the feeling like everything should be good after 6 weeks. just remember that this a year plus recovery and i was impatient.

good luck and pet a greyt for me :haveabeer:
