Battery Drain With key off update

Took the battery to Carquest (place of purchase) for the third time,

1st. straight off charger---passed

2. straight out of truck----passed

3. today; straight out of truck----too weak to test !!!!!!!

clerk said it has to be fully charged to test for warranty----- huh!!!!!!

As of right now I have a DeepCycle starting battery in truck to get around.





Question is;;???? will this be safe, using a deepcycle to start with????

It will be fine as a loaner battery.......



Just don't keep it in there for a long time..

If you have a charger. Fully charge the battery. Then take it to autozone or someone else for the load test. Carquest tester may not be right. At least it will be a second opinion.

You need a new batt, buy a good AGM, and never look back
