Battery Jump Box

I would like to purchase one of these emergency battery jump boxes as I recently had a need for one and was stuck without it. I have a question for people that own them. How long do they stay charged for jumping once you have it fully charged. If I leave it in the garage or in the trunk of a car unplugged how long will they hold their charge. I am sure it varies by brand and size but some general info will help. Also what size would be recommended for the ST battery and starting system.

I have one of the slim style red ones from Sams. It has (2) 12v power ports on the front as well. As long as you plug it in and let it fully charge before use, I have had mine hold charge for over 6 months unused, and it held a full charge. These have small gel-cell batteries in them, so they will hold a charge for quite a while.
