My brother is in the Navy...He cruises on one of the last nuclear ships...USSKennedy! He is the one up in the tower telling them when to land baby!!

There was supposed to be some more Nuclear ships to be built, but the money was diverted to the rebuilding of Iraq.



I should know!!! 7 guys were layed off because of it and more are to come.

CVNs or smaller? Just curious.

CVN. We are completing the first set of something that is for that ship. We were supposed to got one of "the big ones" and two of the smaller "things" per year. The smaller thing is a for an SSN Virginia class Sub. We have been cut back to one "thing" of the smaller one and the next "Big one" has been delayed for two to three years.



I am not legally allowed to say what they are. Sorry.

Two of my teammates at Saturn (G.M.) were recently called back to active duty

schedueled to go to Baghdad in October. Both were NavComWar, or something like that.

Both are Navy, both Gulf War Veterans, '90-'92.

John Shortridge, and David Reybach. We gave them both a grand farewell at work the

other night, and prayed with them and wished them both a safe return!

I just wonder what is gonna happen over there?!?!
