Bed Divider doesnt fit with bed extender?

Just recieved my Ford bed divider/partition. Went in smoothly, but when I folded up the bed extender, the extender hits the divider. Was this a design flaw? Does anyone else have the same issue?

The number on the box is 1L2Z-99286A72-AA.

I've never seen both used at the same time.

The cage serves as a divider when it's flipped in and most likely isn't designed to be used with a seperate divider.

Just my .02 worth.

I dont remember who. One of our members did a modification and made them work together. Maybe that member will chime in....

I just moved the bed divider up just in front of where the bed extender rests in the closed position and then carefully drilled the side holes into the bed box. You can even get the plugs that dress up the holes that make it look like a factory install. Works great! email me if you have questions.

Can't use them together ... may be a design flaw, but that's the way they were made ...
