I have a 2004, flex fuel engine, and its time for a belt change. I looked at the tensioner just briefly last night, but I didnt see any obvious points to make it move away from the belt. Do I use the bolt head on the pulley, or is there a slot somewhere else. Any tips on doing this would be appreciated.

Yes thats correct.... its in the metal of the assembly between the bolt aand the pulley...

also get a .5 inch shorter belt..... It works sooo much better and doesent allow the slip that can occure on the 4.0.....

The tensioner is spring loaded, you will insert the square drive into the hole and press the arm away from the belt. The belt will then be able to be removed..
