I went to Advance Auto today to buy some Royal Purple for the diff. They just started selling RP oil, but no gear oil. Should I order it on line or does anyone know what auto parts store sells it? Thanks,

Gary D.

Ebay...... Was the cheapest even with shipping...

I have cases of it here for when I service my truck...

Gary, Advance Auto can order it. I just picked up mine today :D

Talk with the "Commercial Parts Pro" and tell him to order it from the "Keystone Catalog" via "Second Source" out of the master warehouse, and he'll probably sh!t a brick if you go in and start throwing those terms around, lol.

3 qts, after discount, came out to around $25 for me :D

Gary look harder.... I got it cheeper than that.... Then again, i did buy it by the case.... So I am sure it was cheeper

I would have to think shipping would be really high if you bought it on-line. I use 10-30w RP. Buy it by the case for around $4.50 a quart. It's made locally and I have a friend who has a friend that works there and gets it really cheap. It's not an easy process to get the stuff or I would offer to get it for others. Incredible stuff. Wish they would go down on there prices. It's actually gone up in price. I use to pay under $4 per quart.
