I deceided it was time to replace rotors and front pads.I got bendix front rotors and semi-metalic pads nothing cheap. Rotors $100.00 and pads $60.00, Rotors warped brand new got replacements they were warped too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lost about 300 brain cells, I took everything back to Advanced auto parts store . I don't know what to do Afraid to buy rotors anywhere and waste another six hours of my life. Are ford OEM rotors any good ? STAY AWAY FROM BENDIX !!!!!!! Thanks just had to vent

The funny thing is ford gets their stuff from bendix... :)

I like wagner products....

Why would you buy cheap rotors and pads in the first place? Powerslot rotors with Hawk pads, stainless steel lines and motul fluid and you have 10X the stopping power than you do with the OEM setup. I would never risk buying crap parts when it came to my safety.

My rear brakes are made by Bosch. The rotor is stamped "Bosch" on them.

I still have the original front rotors.

Yup, it was me. The kit is actually OE 1996 rear disks. The rear braking system on the Trac is made by Bosch. I don't know who made the front braking system, but I do know the front and rear brakes on my Escort GT is made by Lucas.

If anyone does the rear brake conversion, any parts you might need like pads, rotors, or calipers can be ordered for a 1996 Explorer, which is also the same on the 2003 to 2005 Trac's.
