Hey guys, did the Biltmore, loved it! It was a real good time. Man, that place is huge ! Took the advice on the behind the scenes tour, and the headphones.. Great tips! And some people think you can only get advice about tranny flares on here... lol ;) I love this site.. Thanks again guys, pics are in my library.. There's too many to post.

Glad you had a good time. I definitely need to take a trip over there sometime soon. The place always amazed me.

Glad you liked it. Did you stay at the Inn?? Did you eat there?? I would like to go back. again sometime. We were there in early April, so the only thing in the garden that was flowering were the daffodils and tulips. The gardens looked really nice for you. I'd imaging the Fall would be a nice time. I would have liked to do the behind the scenes tour there. Was that the rooftop tour? Pretty amazing that most homes built in the time did not have elecricity, yet he had an indoor pool with underwater lights in it. I thought that the gym looked like a torture room though. Who would want a needle shower??

Didn't stay at the inn, stayed about 2 miles away.. Ate there, the old horse stalls. Yes, the tour I took included the roof. And about the pool, you're right that is amazing. I was able to snap off a couple quick pics in there ;), the pool was one. I still don't understand why they don't allow photography..

If there were pics of it, would you have gone and seen it??? Probably would anyways, but I can't think of another reason. I liked thier back porch. Had a great view!

Glad you had a good time griff. I believe the flash causes problems with pictures, tapestries (spelling?) and could cause fading over time. I hope to make it back there with my son in a few years. It's amazing how far ahead of the times the house was.
