Black Friday / Weekend shopping, what was your best deal?

Ok Lisa and I just got back from Niagara Falls NY, she was over from Thursday PM til Sunday PM shopping up a storm, I arrived up on Saturday morning.



Lisa spent part of Thursday night with her mother in line at Best Buy trying to get some of those great deals. She was able to get a Westinghouse LCD 22" widescreen for $179, one of her best buys, specially because she got it for me..hehe



What was/is your best purchase this past weekend?

i would never consider going out on Black Friday. I do 95% of my Christmas shopping online. I will probably go look at some MP3 players in the next week or so, just to see and feel exactly what I want to get my wife and then buy it online.

Most of my shopping will happen during my trip to Poland. I'll stop on my way in Kentucky, so I'll be doing the majority of my shopping after 21 Dec. I can spend more on my parents without the shipping, and I can't carry much in suitcases.

I went grocery shopping and really enjoyed being 1 of about 10 shoppers in the whole store. Most pleasant grocery shopping experience of my life.



I would not think of being in the midst of all the mayhem, at least not for material items. I love to shop online, tend to get much better deals too.

I dunno it's tough to beat a 22" widescreen monitor for $200. I'm glad I was working though instead of shopping. I don't deal well with large amounts of people.

Oh, I got an emissions inspection on the Trac. In and out in 5 mins. I was the 3rd car in line...LOL

We did have alot of good deals... 50" plasmas'... the 22" Westinghouse was a great deal too...

i got my best deal sat when i was at my friends pawn shop a guy come in with a brand new cordless drill from wal mart and my friend didnt want it so i bought it for 5 bucks it kills me what people will sell for drug money

I got 8 1GB USB memory sticks. $13.80 each with no rebates or other stuff to deal with. Giving 6 out as presents and selling the rest at work today. Nice little profit for me because they are $30 at the store now.
