The list is crazy But I believe it taking care of a vehicle and it will take care of you !!

Green has 130K and going strong !!

All parts Motorcraft, Gates, Amsoil.......

Rear diff fluid , front diff fluid, t-case fluid, transmission fluid and filter and pan gasket, fuel filter, air filter, plugs, flush radiator, flush power steering fluid, flush brake fluid, rotate tires, replace serpentine belt, Engine oil and filter change.

The tranny was GRAY !!! But apparently the 6R is known for this. As long as no burnt smell or bad metal fragments your ok. It was a quick scare !! But all is good !!!

Brakes were still 50% so that will be checked again next year !!!

Keith,

Its not that hard at all. It just takes a basic skill set and tools.

The issue is when their are issues and that's where the advanced skill comes in.

I feel any one can learn these basic maintenance items..

I am always willing to teach, But the plane flight would be costly for ya !!! HAHAH :bwahaha::banana::banana::banana:

Long Island... ;-)

Did you just drop the tranny pan or did you flush out the tranny fluid? My understanding is that just dropping the pan and filter leaves most of the gunk in the torque converter.

Henry,

I do the pan and filter every 60K Min, and flush every 30K. so its not an issue to me. At 90 It will get a flush and so on.

Oh..Ok. I just got to 50K and I was going to the flush. Whats the ballpark price for a flush and where do you recommend? Thanks Todd.

Well I would find a good shop, dealer or tranny that has the machine. ALSO Make sure ONLY ford Mercon LV fluid is used. OR bring them 2 cases of your own.

I have friends shops so I cant accurately state pricing. I do the pan and filters my self.
