Blue got Super Chrome Powder Coated Rims and new rubber

Blue got a set of OEM rims that I had super chrome powder coated. also added aftermarket MX TPMS sensors and I have the mustang spinners I will put on at shows but take off for every day driving. Lets hope they hold up !!!

Looks good. What kind of prep was needed before powder coating? I’m assuming they had peeling clear coat?

Does the powder coat require a clear coat afterward?

Needed to be prepped with a vibration table, or blasting, then the prep to let the powder adhere. then yes you should clear over the powder to help protect when used outside.

Back to next phase !!! Going to go have them re done with Polished Aluminum powder coat. they have a Superchrome 2 coming out, But F that ! So effing pissed....
