Kailua Kona, Hi
This is for my Dad's F-150. He works out of his truck and drives miles per day trying to talk on his cell phone. I want to install a hands free system for him to make his life easier.

I am looking for a bluetooth adapter or way to get a bluetooth phone to work with the stock head unit. The system would have to broadcast the caller's voice over the speakers and recieve the users voice via microphone.

Is there even a way to do this with a stock unit?

Should I simply consider a complete after market deck with bluetooth option?

Parrot makes BT HF kits that are designed to integrate with factory sound systems, as well as several other companies. Google it and you'll find lots of info. They should have a pre-made harness for the truck as well, so it'll be almost plug and play with a little wire routing.
