Any suggestions for the best route from Boston to Louisville? I have a route recommended by my GPS & Google, and also a AAA "Trip Tik". The GPS and Google, send me straight to Buffalo along US90 and then down along Lake Erie, then slightly East of Cleveland and picking up US71 all the way into Louisville. AAA has me heading across the Tappan Zee Bridge and across the Poconos and eventually picking up US71 South. The difference in drive time, and distance is negligible between the two routes. I'm leaning toward the AAA route because it was prepared by one of their "trip specialists" who may have information regarding traffic situations or construction delays.

Looking forward to meeting everyone in Louisville. I'm traveling with my twin brother. That means we can have double the fun.

I found that the Trip Tick STINKS....

I am using Map quest and GPS....

Enjoy your trip....wish I was able to attend

I'm following your route through Buffalo down to Louisville.

O.K. I live just North of Buffalo. It's about 9 hours from here to Louisville. I use Microsoft streets Trips and my GPS.

I took 80 to 71 in 2006. Because I went from 9PM to 6AM, I didn't hit any construction, heavy traffic, etc. But, I80 during the day can be a mess in PA.
