But I guess it's currently popular to bash Christianity. The gays, muslims, poligamists, Scientoligists, illegal immigrants, Child Molestors, terrorists, atheists, and crooked politicians are all A-Ok to support to your hearts content.

So if your not a "christian" then your a supporter of all these other things? That thinking is exactly why I'm not a christian any more. Way to many hypocrites in christianity.

Every Christian is a hypocrite, myself included. We all say you should do it this way, and then we ourselves do it another way. That's why we need forgiveness for sins. We still mess up. Sometimes it just takes a while longer to get a clue. I wonder if some of us will ever wise up.

And R Shek didn't say you are all those other things if you aren't a Christian. Instead, he said it seems to be ok in our current society to be one or more of those things, but not ok to be a Christian.

The fact that an individual or organization proclaim themselves as Christian is a poor indication of their inclination to follow Christ's teachings.

Those who yell the loudest their alleged affiliation, are usually the most unsure and often really trying to get others to support them in whatever position they have adopted to reassure themselves.

Jesus would not have turned gays away (he turned NOBODY away including thieves, prostitutes, lepors etc.) But most churches do. The type of behavior going on in orginized Christian churches today is exactly the type of behavior Jesus was going against the heads of the temple in his time. He wanted God and the church open for ALL. The Bible says love thy neighbor. It does not say love thy neighbor as long as he is the same as you. Jesus said what you do unto the least of my brethren, you do unto me. He didn't say what you do unto the least of your brethren, you do unto me, unless he's gay.

In other words, the real hypocrisy lies in those christians that preach love and acceptance for all beings, as long as you do what they want you to do, otherwise, go to hell.
