Has anyone ordered an 07 with the power back window? I ordered one back in March and still do not have a build date! When I ordered it the build date for the window was June 5th. June is not that far away, does anyone have a build date yet??

I am within 30 days of ordering my Sport Trac but my dealer gave me a 1st -2nd week in June aproximate build date in regards to the Power Down Rear Window but he could not specify when the Navigation System would be available. Hopefully your June 5th build date will be fairly accurate.

On the positive side, the later your vehicle is delivered it increases your chances that additional incentives will be offered. My dealer told me that if Ford offered additional incentives at the time of delivery then I would be able to take advantage of those as well.

I ordered an '07 on 4/18 with the PDBL. I was told the standard 6-8 week timeframe. I just got off the phone with the dealer. He has the VIN, but no build date yet. He is predicting a mid-June delivery. The saleman is being very careful, but somewhat encouraging, concerning a larger rebate being offered by that time. I think that unless cars start flying out of the showrooms soon (unlikely in the current economy), the rebate might go up. That would make me happy. The $1,000 is nice, but bigger is better.

Guys, would you please elaborate on the cost of the power down window? I have been looking for it to be addded to the forddirect.com site for a while now but it hasn't been updated and included there so that you can build your own ford vehicle. That is a pet peeve with me about the Ford Marketing group of people, they are very lax when it comes to stuff like that. It's a no-brainer to me that if they want to sell stuff, then they should be the first to let the consumer know! My favorite car company will not do what it takes to be the number one in the USA, and that is to do the right things ......whatever happened to Job 1 ? Not the production runs, but the slogan that meant something as far as quality and service. Oh yeah, they had another one long ago about the "bright ideas" (?) or something like that!::eek:

I believe the cost was $250 MSRP, and around $200 invoice/dealer price. I don't remember the exact cost. I love how the dealer was so proud to tell me how Ford had not raised the price on the "totally improved, much more sophisticated" '07 ST. Well, that's much easier to do when you eliminate something that was standard equipment and a very desirable feature (like the power rear window) and make it an option. Oh well, there is no free lunch, upgrade or Santa Claus.

Would everyone please do a search of the topics before asking the same questions over and over. Search for PDBL and cost in the texts and it has been posted. Sorry if I sound rude, not meant to be, but we waste so much time reposting the same data.

Jeff, not trying to be rude either but personaly I (and apparently others as well) don't mind reposting usefull information if a user is not aware that it already exists.

Now for the details that I want to provide: The Power Down Rear Window is Option code 617 and the Dealer Invoice price is $208 with a MSRP of $245.

Just FYI: 10 posts in the past 30 days on PDBL.

Unfortunately Jeff, this always happens. Everyone always says to do a search, but it is always easier to start a new thread. How they get that idea, i have no clue. But I'm with you, some of these threads end up reading like other ones.

I ordered mine May 5th and have no info yet.

The invoice price for the PDBL should be $208.

How long did it take for you guys to have your orders confirmed and get VIN #'s?
