Diazinon is NOT approved for use:

"EPA Issues Final Reminder of "Stop Sale" Date for Diazinon

EPA is issuing a final reminder notice to pesticide retailers that the stop-sale date for all outdoor diazinon home, lawn, and garden products is December 31, 2004. After that date, it will be unlawful to sell diazinon outdoor non-agricultural use products in the United States. This provision is part of an agreement between EPA and diazinon registrants to phase out and eliminate virtually all residential uses of the insecticide."

only reason i knew about spray adhesive was because i now work outdoors parttime at a go kart track...

a hive developed in the pit area, so on maintenance day, we got 3cans of spray adhesive and soaked the nest and the surrounding area...

it was beautiful!

the owner came down and laughed cuz there was a be stuck and was trying to get away... nest has sense been burned with starter fluid...

i took care of some yellow jackets with dynamite at night last summer. Drank a few beers to make it sound like a good idea, dug a small hole where they came out of, put a half stick in the ground covered it back up so the fuse was out lit it and ran. Worked pretty good no more bees and I had a neat little hole in the yard

I was mowing the lawn and they had setup shop under a flower box/wall.

A few got me (I guess the mower annoyed them), so that evening I conducted my own assault operations on their nest.

The bee's never knew what hit them, two years later....their nest is still unoccupied.

My sister had a group of yellow jackets or bees make a hive in the wicker love seat in her yard furniture. They were in the wicker and INSIDE the cushion that was on it. It was a really big hive in the cushion! Luckilly she saw it before someone sat on the love seat and kelled them all!

No luck yet. Tried a gallon of water with honey in it so they would crawl in and drown- no takers. After several brandy's last night, poured gasoline in hole and lit it up- still there. Bought a wasp/hornet trap today- so far no interested parties. Perhaps I will go up there and ask them to please leave, my daughters want to play on their swings. Pretty please!!!!!!

Well, how about some thin set Concrete? (Thin so it flows easily)

Just pour it in the hole and let it run down and fill all the spaces... ;)
