Caliper/Drum Painting

Hi, I want to paint my Brake Drums, and Calipers Blue... what I want to know is...



Do I have to take them completely off to paint?



... and this is a 01 ST, so im sure there is lots of dirt, brake dust all over them, how do I go about preparing the caliper/drum for paint?



Also, what paints have people TRIED before that worked best?

There is a kit with everything you need to paint the calipers.

You do not need to take off the Calipers just have to cover the rotors with a bag or something. I'm not sure about the drums tho.

Some will recommend high-temp paint... know what I used? Testor's Model paint with a brush. Painted my calipers 2 years ago, and the paint is still in great shape.

That paint is used for toys. It would work great for a TOYota, but a Ford is not a toy. I needs something a little more Substantial. J/K You knew I had to make a comment about that.
