Guys I'm going to do TT and need to know where to get a good set of camber bolts. I looked at the ones from rockauto and want to compare those to any others made. TIA

JUST be sure you get the ones with NEW bolts and not just slide on washers..

You can get the washers from the dealer and be done with it. The old bolts are larger than the complete camber bolt kits.

I am running Ingalls Engineering camber bolts on my Trac, but my brother is running the camber washers on his 1999 Explorer. The Ingalls Bolts are expensive and they are not as big as the Ford bolts are. The washers are like $9.00 compared to $40.00 for the Ingalls Bolts.

If I were to do it over, I would NOT get the Ingalls bolts when the washers are cheaper and better.

From what i have found the bolts and washers give you more adjustment angle that just the washers do....

Lower the truck and have the alignment checked and then decide what you need...

Mike,

an 03 does not need cams or cambolts to set the wheel alignment.

For what it's worth, the "cam washers" can only be used on the 01 and early 02's with the factory cam bolts.

Complete cams and bolts can be installed on all years, but are not necessary on mid 02's and newer - Read the Ford shop manual (the washers refered to are just that, flat washers. I use the Ford ones, but you can use any thick flat washer):

Camber and Caster Adjustment

NOTE: The upper arm-to-frame mounting bolts have set shims that must be replaced with washers (W-705040-S900) to allow for adjustment of the arm in the frame slot. The vehicle should be supported by the lower arm to ease movement of the upper arm in the slot.

Remove the nuts and the shims.

Discard the nuts and shims.

Install new washers (W-705040-S900) and nuts and snug the nuts.
