La Rue- You recommend using powdered graphite in lock cylinders or silicone based lube?

Been using graphite from day one without issues thus far. A little messy, though. Thanks.

swshawaii... NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!!!!! use graphite in any of todays locks.... Make sure you figure out a way to clean/blow out the locks BEFRORE spraying them with a liquid lube. They will GUM up.! I use wd40 or any type spray lube. There is a marine spray lube I like, it comes from home depot, but used all mine up and cannot remember the name.

Should I use an air compresser or aeresol dust remover used on computers, etc.?
