I tried to charge my ac system today but the " fits all makes & models" package I bought at wal-mart didn't fit and some green stuff leaked out. Any suggestions?

The Green is the leak detector....
The high and low fittings are 2 different sizes, did you have the correct fill spot???
ALSO I have found you really need to press those things on, So you may not have had it on right....
