My check engine light came on in my 2001 ST 4x4 but has been running fine.
A cowork had an ODB reader but it would not work, then I took it too Autozone to use theirs and it still did not work. Off to the dealership I go, because there had to be a problem with the data reader to read the codes, and IT WAS
Data Connector kept blowing a fuse so they replaced it so they could read the codes (cost) $115 then $95.00 to read the codes. Codes showed something to do with PVC and cig lighter incert. But they wanted to replace the PVC tube assy clean my fuel system and program PMC and do a fuel induction for $750.00 big ones. My fingers are handy and thanks to All the ST owners and the other post and pics I can do it myself.
