Check Engine Light

After My Check Engine light came on, I used a code reader and got this:



P1401 - Differential presure feedback EGR circuit high input



I did the battery disconnect and the light stayed off for about a mile before coming back. What should I check? 01 with 79,000 miles . . .

Sounds like the DPFE sensor has gone bad. It's a common failure point on many Ford vehicles.

DPFE, maybe someone has a pic and can post it. Easy to change..

Chazon, it appears you have a '07 or '08. That should be under warranty..
