Can't say I have this on my ST, but I do on my '66 F100. Its very nice, though my reply wasn't good and I'm sure not the answer you were looking for.

Those can't even be considered mufflers!! More like Loud abnoxious straight pipes....You will get ALOT of popping from those and it will sound like $!@%

IMO!!

My buddy has 1 on his '03 f150 screw. Sounds great on his truck, nice low rumble when idling and deep throaty sound at WOT. He actually tried a couple of other mufflers first but they were practically silent. Not sure how it will sound on our 6's

Cherry Bomnbs, glass pacs and Thrush take me back to the day...

Know what I mean tyler???

reminds me of old chevells and novas...

I have them on the F250 they came on it and are very very LOUD its a old work truck and no rules hear so it gets buy. There 24" 2.5" in and out. I would think not a good choice to run on sonething nice. Bill

From what I remember you got the cherry bomb just to be loud and get noticed. I think you would be happier with one of the other choices we have for mufflers.

I don't think they'd be real loud if you're running the exhaust through the cats first anyway. Older cars w/o cats and especially with headers will be louder.

Now what WAS fun, was back in the day when I put headers on a friend's Blazer (old-school full size with a 350). He wanted it loud, so for mufflers I put on 1980 Camaro Z-28 resonators* which LOOK like mufflers but have all the silencing ability of tomato cans. After a week he took it back to the muffler shop and had turbo mufflers put on.

*Behind cats they sound pretty good. Trust me on this. That was the Z-28 system back then.

Ahh, glasspacks. Of course you could achieve the same effect by drilling holes in your existing muffler.

Back in the day before the advace of high flow mufflers. I have used 4 glasspacks on large V8 motors(two on each side). The sound was smooth and powerful, without the rackety-rack of the glass pack.

I thought of doing that (4 glasspacks), but stuck with turbo mufflers instead. Glad to hear it would have worked!
