Hey guys, Just a heads up. Pepboys online has the chrome tow hooks for pretty cheap. It's a long link because I was halfway through their website when i noticed 'em.

;)

That link only takes you to Pep Boys' web site, not to the specific item. Are you sure the hooks you found are compatible with the Sport Trac? When I did a parts search by model, there weren't any tow hooks shown.

Sorry, Heres better info

Those may not work, The St tow hooks lay sideways, Those will point up and down. you may have clearance issues with the front bumper

I've been looking at tow hooks. The ones sold by Ford for the ST do lay sideways and have no opening at the loop. You must use a recovery strap with hooks. IMHO...the Ford tow hooks are way overpriced. The above pictured hooks would work if the holes were in the side of them. Does such an animal exist?

The OE hooks have a little drop to them too, and you may be drilling extra holes. Those would be a bunch cheaper though if they work. My Trac came without them and I bought some used hooks later and got them chromed.

The chrome cost $200, but I'm not always real logical when it comes to my vehicles.
