Cleaned IAC

So i cleaned my IAC tonight. We'll see if it helps the sputtering my trac has been doing at idle. If not, what else should i try? Or some other good, east tune ups for a 140k '01 trac?

Try the SeaFoam treatment if you haven't yet.

Did you also clean the throat of the throttle body? It can gunk up around the throttle blade and cause idle problems.

I just read that project, so i think i will do that and SeaFoam intake cleaning this weekend.

It WILL smoke so make sure ur in an area that you can "smoke up"..... hold your stoner comments, :lol:

just make sure the engine is cold when u do the sea foam.

I did the sea foam treatment last week with the truck warm, oh well, and it still worked great . Between cleaning the throttle body, IAC and sea foam treatment my truck idles a lot smoother and seems to have gotten a little bit of its pep back.

Why cold? Instructions say warm engine first. ???
