Incorrect ratio for gear 2:

Everything feels fine on the shifting.

I am guessing this is XCAL related.

I changed to the Z Throttle Body earlier this week, and started running a new XCAL from Torrie today.

I get it on my 87 Octane Fuel Economy Program, but not on the 93 Octane Performance or 87 Performance, I am running it stock tomorrow to check that as well.

Is there something in the tune that needs to be adjusted?

Thanks Guys!

Is it possible you messed up the TPS, when you ghanged the TB. It might have an effect on the 5r55e trans signals, from the pcm.

I have the code meaning up there, but can't interpret the cause.

I would agree with the TPS, but I put a new one on there this week, AND it does not do it but in the one program mode.

If the tuner changes trans line pressure you could be having a problem with the epc solenoid.

On the 5r55e trannies when they start throwing this code 80% of the time we will find that either the o/d servo is bad or that the o/d servo bore is damaged. This problem may not show up under normal circumstances...no tuner installed.. but if the tuner does indeed increase line pressure, as I suspect it does, then this could be the sign of the o/d servo and or bore issue that is just starting to develop.

I had to have Torrie check my trans tunes. My 87p and 89p, trans tune didnt match my 93p tune. Emailed him and he took a look at it and sent me new tunes the same day. I wasnt getting any codes. It just didnt shift the same on the 2 lower octane tunes.

Torrie's a good rep.

Eddie, Due to it only throwing codes in 1 out of 4 Tunes, I would say that this is the best idea to start with. I was talking to Todd about a different upgrade today, and he said almost the same thing. He said that he had the same issue on a Trac.

Thanks!

That shouldnt be an issue within the calibration there is nothing written into it to invoke P0732.
