im considering trashing the torsion bars and replacing them with coilovers, im not lookin at spending a ton of money on this but if i have to i will. any ideas for me on what coilovers to use, im going to try to find rcd mounting hardware but if not i know a few people who can make a set for me also

Look the conversion on EF. Someone just recently posted a thread on their conversion. I'll look tomorrow and see if I can't dig it up. From what I've gathered kings are the best. Some fox shocks are good and some are just an upgrade drone t-bars. At one point I was considering this and may still go coilovers with my SAS but from what I've read everyone that does it seems to be real pleased. Chad on EF also did the conversion when he did his super lift and before he swapped in a Dana 44. He really liked that setup. Maybe you can PM him about it. His screen name is chad551

Here's the link I was thinking about: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=373273&highlight=coilovers.

Don't mean to offend or anything but don't forget to weld some supports into the shock tower since it's not designed to carry the weight of the truck. I'm sure you already knew that but just wanted to say it again.
