cold start

hello all, I have check engine light on, ran codes with p1000, p0171, p0174 did the search found cracked elbow(2001 job 2) replaced with 5/8 heater hose still same light on. In the mornings when its cold like new york has been, very tuff to get started and keep running on its own. I have to sit there for a couple of minutes and play with throttle to keep it at bay then its fine..any suggestions? really do not want to bring to dealer for this..thanx

Did you reset the light ????



Also check and see if the hose is not being Sucked FLAT by the engine vacuum, that is what happens to the heater hose, IT is not good for that as a repair...





and check to see if it is broken any where else, by the PCV valve...



And Try cleaning the IAC valve, that can cause an issue..



the P1000 code is because you disconnected the battery or reset the CEL not to long ago..
