Computer Help!

Computer crashed last month and I had to reload everthing from the recovery cd.

Most all works as well or better than before, except I keep getting error messages from

my pc or different web sites that my java is turned off or disabled and I cannot view,

play, download, etc... certain things that I am trying to do.

IBM Aptiva WIN/95, Netscape 7.0, if this is any help.

How do I turn it back on???

As usual, they don't support the "Edsel" Operating System!(Win '93/'95)!

I'm gonna have to spring for a new computer one of these days!

wow, didn't know anyone still ran Win95. Definitely time for an upgrade in O/S.

I have (had) an old Aptiva. Bought it in '94. It had Windows 3.1 installed. It was one of the last 386's...not even a Pentium. I think it had 8MB of memory and a 500MB hard drive. I upgraded the memory to 16MB total and installed Windows 95. It didn't have a network card, but did have a modem. Until recently my daughter (5yo) still played games on it.

It's time for an upgrade tracknblack. You don't have to pay much.
