Computer Problem.....

I am having problems with my printer. I think the USB drivers arn't enabled, so when I tried to install the drivers, I went no where. What I need is a USBHUB 2.0 sys I wasn't able to pull the driver off the windows database that I have on the computer. I next tried to use my XP installation disc, and it again couldn't find the file. If any computer persons have any ideas, I would appreciate it.

You might have to disconnect the printer before installing drivers. Did you go to the printer manufacturers homepage to find drivers? Post the printer model and name to see if we can get a driver for it.

Uninstall the printer and let XP install it for you. If it is a legacy printer you might want to upgrade printers. If it's newer Microsoft should have drivers for it which would be more stable.

USB 2.0 drivers are in the Windows XP service pack 2.. do other USB items work?? i

The funny thing is that the printer worker before, all of a sudden it quit working. Kinda frustrating though. I did have windows install the printer, and everything seem to work well until it was time to print the test page. then I had the problems.



I will curse it some mroe after I get home from work.
