Confused about how to replace a piece for the roof.

On my 01 Sport Trac 4x4 the 2 pieces on the roof are cracked and one has fallen off. Anybody know if/where/how I can get it replaced? Maybe a junkyard? Need help because it looks like crap.

bolted from inside..... Junk yard only.... common failure... new are all sold out and would need paint.

If you are talking about the rails. I removed mine on my '04 gen1. The screws are an the outside. You will have to plug the holes. I used bodytabs then painted them

Eddie, i'm sure he is referring to the back plastic strips.... They are becoming common failures now.

Used to be a project on the former site where linoleum floor tile or similar was used and painted to match.

May want to contact admin and see if they still have that project. Good luck.

Long time lurker her, and I’ve gotten a lot of useful information on the forums over the years. i never had anything To contribute until now (not at this is that big a contribution), but I remember this project @swshawaii is talking about. Yeah, I am. I really would like to get some. Problem is that I don’t know where I’d find it. Maybe I’ll get lucky and find one in the junkyard.
