I hopped that the Tigers would win at least one game to make it interesting...but Detroit had nothing that could beat the Giants. Good games from both teams.

Did anyone care about this WS outside of the represented cities? This was the first WS I didn't watch at all. Almost ashamed of myself but I just couldn't get invested in this one.

Hugh,

I have to agree with you....I watch very little of any of the games, and only in short channel-surfing spurts during commercials.

Even the media did not do talk much about the World Series? Perhaps too many people where distracted by Elections, and hurricane Sandy?

I saw almost none of this series. The teams just didn't interest me at all, and the contest was no contest anyhow. Just like the last Superbowl.

I can't say that I had any "affinity" with the teams, they were neither local teams nor renown rivals of local teams (local relative to me). If either team has any sort of large regional/national appeal it would be news to me.

Best thing from this season, as far as I'm concerned, is that the Orioles broke their 15-year spree of suck.

We've had just-good-enough mediocrity in Atlanta for a long time. Another predictable and disappointing season from the Braves.

I watched much of this year's Series. Despite the 4-0 sweep, it was pretty entertaining. It's been refreshing the last couple years to have Series which aren't just New York and Boston teams. Those are the ones I have no interest in, and tune out.
