My brother's Broncos lost today, but he's still happy. One of his business associates has offered him a free ticket and travel to the Super Bowl. It's an exciting time for him and his company in Roswell, since his office manager's niece won the Miss America Pagent last night too.
Finally after all these years! Seattle was never so bad that we had to put bags on our heads but for awhile it seemed they would never break out of the mediocrity. I knew they had a good chance to win the division but they just kept getting better and better every week.
Problem is now that I like the Steelers too, but I'll be rooting for the Seahawks.
It did not look like the Broncos or the Panthers showed up to play football. The Steelers and the Seahawks jumped all over them early and they never could get back into the game.
One more game and football is over for the season. No more interupting the other programming because they cant ever play the game in the time allowed. I can't wait.
No kidding, Tom. I'm getting tired of Fox not showing The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, and King of the Hill on Sunday nights when they usually have new episodes.
I know. Personally, I feel if every game goes over 1/2 hour, then why not schedule the other shows acordingly?
I love the sunday line-up on Fox. One of the few days I can spend the evening at home unwinding by the TV. The FOX has to screw it up with some lame football game.
I had my life's fill of football when I was a kid at home. E V E R Y G A M E that came on TV was on our (my Dad's) TV. Now I'd rather sit and watch a truck rust.
Fantastic game. I was at Qwest Field in my usual seat, watching Seattle history unfold. I know, I know. Seattle played a weak schedule, Steve Smith is unstoppable. Shaun Alexander is highly overrated, and your grandmother would have had 3,000 yards behind our o-line.
