Consol ugly and scratched

Has anyone found a solution to the age old problem of the consol getting scatched up. I have searched everywhere with no success to find a grey burl wood dash kit to match the grey interior. Dont like crome stainless or wood or carbon in the grey. (sorry picky)



Anyway am just about to try and pull it and have it re-painted gray. But it will just get scratched again.
