USAspec ford radio adapter - excellent condition. I used this to connect my Sirius sat radio and my MP3 player. Perfect sound. You have to make sure your radio has the CD changer control built into the radio. I just had to push the "CD" button several times to cycle through the inputs. $40.00 (plus shipping)<a href="http://s661.photobucket.com/albums/uu340/tssgraphics/?action=view&current=usaspecdffordsporttrac.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i661.photobucket.com/albums/uu340/tssgraphics/usaspecdffordsporttrac.jpg" border="0" alt="Sporttrac usaspec"></a>

Doug, that is the same head unit in my '04. It doesnt play MP3 files. How did you get your to?

Hi Eddie,

I just burned a bunch of songs that I have on my PC to a CD-R. I put the CD-R into the radio and it took about 20 seconds of it saying "reading disk" and then it started playing. A little "MP3" logo lights up on the display along with the song title, artist and album name.

One CD will store a LOT of MP3 files.

I'm just changing out the radio because I want a DVD touch screen in my van.

You might want to pull your radio out a bit and check the part number and see if it is MP3 capable.

Hope this helps. Good Luck

Eddie,

If your head unit says 'Text' on a button on the top row and 'folder' on buttons three and four, then it should play MP3s, if it doesn't have these words, then it is not a MP3 player.

My top button says fw-rw and text. the 3 and 4 buttons dont say folder. So mines not mp3.

Iam still cofussed about why I have a button that says, SAT. Is their a way to tie in sirius sat, to the rear of the head unit?

Doug sorry for stealing your thread.
